This year's KT Colloquium will take place at the University of Bayreuth. The conference will be held on the main campus of the University of Bayreuth.

How to get there

The university campus is located on the southern outskirts of the city. Approx. 900 meters away from the "Bayreuth-Süd" junction (AS 42) of the A 9 freeway.

Arrival by train: At Bayreuth main station you will find cab ranks and bus stops on the forecourt. The public bus 316 (limited trips) commutes between the main station and the campus or you can take another public bus to the central bus stop (ZOH) and take the lines 304 (Birken/Universität), 306 (Universität/Campus) or 326 (Oberfrankenhalle/Campus) to the bus stop “Geowissenschaften”.

Arrival by public transportation: There are three stops on campus: "Mensa, Geowissenschaften, Uni-Verwaltung". The line 316 (limited trips) commutes between the main station and the campus. You can also reach the campus via the central bus stop (ZOH) with lines 304, 306 or 326. To get to the buildings of the Faculty of Engineering, it is best to use the “Geowissenschaften” stop.

Arrival by car: Leave the A 9 highway (Nuremberg - Berlin) at the "Bayreuth-Süd" exit in the direction of "Stadtmitte". Follow the signs for "Universität". After the main access road, keep left and follow the road until you see the buildings of the Faculty of Engineering on the left-hand side.
